The birth of the idea
Jangu International began in 2014, after years of providing educational sponsorships to orphans. The graduates from the program were unable to attend university due to the high tuition fees, and those who did attend higher education institutions were unable to secure meaningful employment. The founder (Etienne salborn) realized that a new approach was needed to address these challenges, and so the idea for Jangu International was born.
Jangu International is a unique self-organized learning space that provides marginalized and school dropouts with the pathways, tools, and mindset needed to set a vision for themselves and become social entrepreneurs. Through this approach, Jangu International aims to create jobs and make a positive impact in the community.
