The birth of the idea
Our family's sole source of income was a pineapple plantation, but we frequently faced financial difficulties. Only my elder brother could attend university because of the high costs, leaving my younger sisters and me unable to continue our education. However, after attending an entrepreneurship program, my brother and I were inspired to create Aval Agroecology Ltd, a social enterprise aimed at supporting fruit and vegetable farmers in Uganda by providing sustainable income and access to education for their children.
